I found this hat at Pavement, a boutique in Lawrenceville with a wealth of local and independent designers. Everything in that store could be worn at Coachella. It's that cute. I knew this hat would be the centerpiece of many of my fall looks. I wore it in Nashville and one of the locals told me I came well prepared. I love the 70s vibe it adds to any outfit as well as how it signals that fall is here in all of its hat and scarf glory.
In sad life news, we lost my grandpa a few weeks ago. The last few weeks have been especially tough for me and my family. As is always said during times like these, I've been trying to focus on all of the good memories. One such memory of my grandpa was how he always used to wear cowboy hats. In fact, after looking through pictures of him, I found out that he was quite the trend setter himself, always wearing the latest styles. His style definitely evolved with the times. Perhaps that is where I get my love of fashion. I get a kick out of the fact that he probably would have loved this hat. If you're looking down Grandpa, I hope you are enjoying this outfit post!
