The pencil skirt

So every once and a while I have to dress like a big girl, and yesterday was one of those days. I can't always wear poofy skirts and plaid button downs. Those things have never really screamed professional. So I dressed up my way, with a purple pencil skirt. Maybe it's because I always loved the the purple teletubby, but I loved this skirt from the moment I saw it. I was going to tone it down with some gray, but then I remembered I had this blue shirt that I knew would be the perfect shade to compliment the purple.
NY&Co shirt; Francescas necklace (gifted); United Colors of Benetton skirt (thrifted, Avalon); Loft tights; Vintage Ann Talyor shoes

I have a purple pencil skirt almost identical to this one that I actually got at NY and CO. I love it, it's warm and sophisticated. It fits you like a glove. Looks great.
